Hi Grumpy, the lock was made by the Slaymaker - Barry Company 1888-1900 and is a common style of a brass warded lock. Not much to the value of yours being in the shape it’s in, but in good condition with key it would be a $20 lock to todays collector (pretty common). Hope this helps?
