What are the dimensions of the lock? Like BBE said these were made from the early 1800’s to the mid 1950’s. Prices can range from $15. to several hundred depending on the maker,inscriptions,size,condition and rarity. From your picture,I would say yours is one of the more common with the rectangular key hole. Still a collectable lock none the less.
