My great grandfather had a store and in it he used a safe made by Halls Safe & Lock Co., Cincinatti, Ohio. I’m trying to find information out abou tthis company and their safes. The details I have from my father on it are as follows:
The safe has engraving on the dial knob: Halls Safe & Lock Co., Cincinatti, Ohio. On both handles it has 27294. Stencil Print on inside of right door is Halls Patent 1849.
It appears to have 2 pins per door (1-top 1-bottom) The doors are about 5 ½ inches thick and the overall is 37 ½ wide; 38 high; 30 deep.
