pgnorth Hello I recently acquired a brown safe made in the 70’s I think. It belonged to my mom and she has been moved to elderly care . Is there anyway to recover the combination? The serial or model # is 72-5274.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Huw Eastwood Is the door locked shut or locked in the open position? If it’s the first you’ll need a safe technician to open it, if it’s the second then someone familiar with them might be able to help.

There’s a massive difference- one is a locked shut safe with the combination lost, for which you’ll need a safe tech to open. The other is an open safe with door locked open for which members can hopefully explain the procedure to reset it. T Davison You have a Meilink Home safe. As far a retrieving a combo from the serial # is not possible. Your best bet is find a safe tech that can open it and set a combo. Hope it helps tim
