Can you identify this lock?

I have in my possession a lock exactly like the one in the pictures below. I have exhausted my considerable search talents, and can’t figure out when it might have been manufactured or what it’s approximate value might be. I would like to know both so that I can figure out what should be done with it. Can anyone around here identify it beyond the information in the pictures, or point me in the direction of a reference that could do so? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can supply.

Modern Chinese fantasy lock (still being made as far as I can tell) being a copy of a genuine english lock still in production made by Squire.

I have seen them at ‘antique markets’ and lock shows new in there boxes complete with made in Taiwan / China stickers on the back of the locks.

I have also spoken with the UK maker of the Genuine article who have confirmed that they never have made this lock with another name on it - Never.

There is also a site on the net that imports these things in bulk - I’ll try and find the link for it.

There are other examples of this lock on this site.

There really isn’t any doubt about what this lock is …………

I forgot to say there are other versions of this lock with different names. One being a USN (US Navy design) with the same lock, same maker but this time they are in Boston rather than London !
