Way back in the 1950’s when I was still ‘at the bench’ I made a miniature model of a Ratner Grade 3 type safe door.
The purpose was to demonstrate the function of the automatic anti-explosive relocking device which we were retro-fitting to safes of suitable construction at the time. The scale and age is shown by the old ‘threepenny bits’ supporting the model.
Sadly it was misappropriated from my bench about a year later never to reappear.
Now some 50 years later in my sentimental dotage I long to know whatever might have happened to it. Has anybody ever come across it ? I don’t ever expect to be re-united but would like to know if it is still safe (ouch) and well
