You didn’t get much help from these guys, I came here looking for info on a key I found and I’m not even going to bother with it, I’ll look someplace else. Your keys are pretty cool, I have a feeling that the jailer stopped by your tree and took a nap and dropped his key ring. I have an old, real old, iron key I found some 50 years ago in my dad’s driveway, Now rumor has it , that there used to be an old fort, revolutionary war type, somewhere on this hill and nobody knows it’s exact location, well, I think I have the key. Although we have never dug up anything else, we really weren’t looking. I am guessing it is a jailer’s key, not keyed, just a throw, turn thing, real neat though. It may not be worth anything to anybody, but it worth a lot to me. And if I can prove the fort theory, the key will be a pretty cool find.
