Huw Eastwood Totally overlooked this one in the same bank as the big Milners door featured before. Still used to store the Money Museum exhibits its described as 36cm thick and still working with 2 of the original 3 locks. http://www.pinigumuziejus.lt/en/collections/
Chubby It looks so strangely proportioned to my eyes as I am accustomed to western styled doors. Undoubtedly a substantial chunk of door though.
wylk I noticed their web site spelled it “Arheim” instead of “Arnheim”, I assume the latter is correct. Seeing those terrible-looking lock covers reminded me of a door in Istanbul, in what is now the House Hotel (see http://www.thehousehotel.com/the-house-hotel-vault-karakoy.aspx). Two doors are shown with lock covers that might ID these doors as also by Arnheim. Comments?
Huw Eastwood Think this is a similar Arnheim but not 100% sure, it might be a Pohlschroder- actually make that Bode-Panzer, my German is non-existent and my memory going the same way!
