Bought all of them!šblush): First to get open and restore, The scariest one, The chubb mosler taylor. Double combination + delayed time lock. Got it open in 3 hours of manipulation. This bad boy was a pain in the :x: to get upstairs. Hereās picture of the restoration.
Huw Eastwood That looks a pretty good safe, what sort of rating has it got? Iām surprised it hasnāt got glass over at least one of the S&G locks though, thereās plenty of space for relockers above the time lock next to the top lock. Youāve done a neat job on it.

I havenāt found any UL tag on it. The interior was in pretty bad shape. My guess is the bank destroy the interior for removing the floor anchor. But iām pretty sure itās a trtl30. I was suprised too of not finding a glass relocker. Another safe that was there is a Mgm safe. Pretty bad ass too. Got only one manipulation proof S&G combination and it has a glass relocker. This one is in pretty good shape and it have the Trtl30X6 rating. The other safe is an Antique Taylor. Still not open. Doesnāt have picture of the vault door yet but itās a simple Taylor Door. Chubby A very good quality unit and you seem to have restored it well. Perhaps you want to retain it as original as possible, but if it were mine I would put a dead aed on it, and can see exactly where it would go!
max78 Taylor safe is now Home. manipulation Time, Taadaamm!! Full of tamp and old paper. Some paper date of 1947. Need some restoration. more than i tought. Sad that it miss the door of the inner cabinetā¦

T Davison Chubb Canada made a few versions of that safe. The one with glass had a over all door of @ 5 ā ā³ . The slab was 3ā³ thick and than Ā¾ā³ space with Ā½ā³ (2- Ā¼ā³ glass plate) Than a bed plate of Ā¼ā³ or ā ā³ steel with the locks mounted . The other thing is that there is a remote relocker that stops the travel of the center bolt bar. enjoy Tim
