Big Chubb doors in London

I found a blog from 2010 regarding a former Midland Bank in London – http://piquantphotos.blogspot.com/2010/03/photo-essay-midland-bank-vault.html

However, it does not state the exact location. I’m pretty certain it’s not the HSBC/Midland bank at 1 Prince’s (or 27 Poultry) that we’ve discussed in the past (with a round Chatwood door). Does anybody have an idea of where this is? It seems to have a nice rectangular Chubb door and emergency door.

Might be 209 Earls Court Road, London SW5 9AN. Converted in 1994 and now the Blackbird pub.

Thanks for the suggestion but the Blackbird just didn’t look right, I could not find any mention of vaults or any images of vaults via Google. So I just jumped in with a Google Images search for “london pub bank vault” (without the quotes).

It looks like this is a pub called Revolution, the Leadenhall location in London, http://www.revolution-bars.co.uk/bar/london-leadenhall/ at 140-144 Leadenhall Street. A related web page, https://www.revolutioninthecity.com/london-bars/london-bar includes a description “Inside this London bar you will find the famous Vault, previous home to diamonds and gold bullion and now the perfect place to party in the city.” And a slide show for Revolution includes these images:

I see what you mean, I should have looked closer at the non-vault pictures on the blog- the layouts way too big for a small branch bank like the Blackbird which would more than likely have chubb’s basic BB doors.
