Hello and Thank You to all!

Yes Kromer No.14 is the lock in question (I too found it last evening with full directions of operation right here), although until I’m onsite I wont know if it’s the 14A lock.

Great info., & I still need to unlock it…I see no manipulation technique applicable, so maybe I deal with the snubber bar that feeds into the lock.
The issue with that is I have no idea what the boltwork looks like…stay tuned.:@:

Looks quite a nice safe, always enjoy seeing the old European ones as we don’t see many from the lesser known makers here in Britain. Good luck with the challenge- how thick is the door plate through to the Kromer key lock? Difficult to tell from its general appearance as some can have that ‘average’ sort of look but pack quite a punch in terms of door thickness and hard plates etc.
Hope you can post photos of the door at 90 degrees once you’ve done it, it’d be great to see it open 🙁nod):
