Interesting conumdrum.
Banding on the safe indicates it was made between 1890 to 1914 period. Internal colour if original livery appears to be of Chatwood stylisation🙁y):.
It is my suggestion that this safe may have originated from the Chatwood factory and was fitted with the Taylor required elements.
If you can submit more images of the safe, internals and externals, boltwork etc, including safe measurements that may be the clincher once I look on Chatwood old sales brochures.
