Hello Danny, it’s worth removing the bolt case from the door as that will confirm if any makers plate has been removed and filled. It’ll also reveal what lock it has fitted, and how well made the boltwork is, and any hard plate if there’s one fitted.
its quite possible it is unmarked and un-branded, going back I used to see a lot of that style by unknown makers.
John & Joseph Taunton and Thomas Skidmore & Son made similar looking safes with similar knob handles, but they were always clearly marked with makers plates, and usually had the moulding on the door in an arch shape.
Cyrus Price & Company also made similar looking with rectangular moulding like yours, but they always had a ‘T’ shaped handle and again were always clearly marked.
my guess is it’s quite possibly unbranded, and removing the bolt case is the only way to throw anymore light on it. The unbranded examples I used to open and re-key were always an unknown as the locks fitted on them varied considerably. Some surprisingly had good anti-pick locks and even the occasional Chubb Detector, with never any indication to suggest what it was. Needless to say it’s not a jewellers quality safe, but one typically used by any business for general use.
