I was recently at our local tourism center for some unrelated stuff for a friend when I saw an old safe that I remember being at our local hardware store back in the early 90s. It was moved to the town office where it sat in storage for many many years. Eventually they brought it to the tourism center…
And the part where we all cry. When they were moving it off the trailer it went arse over teakettle. :=(:
Thankfully the damage wasn’t too bad. The handle was slightly damaged and there was some superficial damage to the pain and hinges. Thankfully the dial appears to have escaped damage.
I was hoping that somebody might have spare parts just sitting around that could use a good home. I just snapped a few pictures with my cell phone as I was in a hurry. I can go back later if close ups or a more specific shot is needed. Hopefully I can get them to open it up for a few inside pictures.
