First, I’m not an expert on time locks. But I do enjoy seeing them as wonderful and intricate examples from an earlier era. And they are way too expensive for me to try collecting!
A very nice book on time locks is “American Genius” by David and John Erroll. You might enjoy it just for the photography and history. Somewhere else on this forum was a discussion of errors in the book (http://www.antique-locks.com/showthread.php/1710-Errors-in-American-Genius). I’ve seen copies on eBay for as low as $21.21 with free shipping.
Based on that book (page 252) I’d guess yours is a Sargent & Greenleaf “Triple B”. Yours is unusual in that the bolt-blocking side release seems to be at the top, rather than the bottom. The date range would be somewhere between 1895 (when S&G began to use truly modular movements) and 1922 (when the Triples went out of production). I can’t tell from your picture whether the movements have consecutive serial numbers, which collectors like because they are likely original rather than replacements.
Value? Probably a lot if you can find the right buyer. These are somewhat rare but so are the collectors. As I said, I’m not an expert or a collector but I’d venture a wild guess of several thousand dollars. If I had one, I’d hang on to it and display it.
