I have a safe that has been in our family at least since the 1930’s but do not know much about it. No one in our family has ever seen it open and the combination is not known. It has been taken to two locksmiths that i do not think know what they are doing. Can anyone tell me anything about the number of discs, makeup of the lock or any other info. I am going to tackle trying to pick it myself but need some guidance. The dial and mechanism are very smooth and free when you turn it. Also, when you twist the T handle in either direction you can hear and feel the mechanism moving inside. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
