Huw Eastwood Hi guys- this ones for fans of the big British doors. This ones in mild steel, brass and stainless- diameters just over two and a half inches and about seven eights of an inch thick. A bit more ornate than the all-steel Midland Bank door in central London- looks more like one of the similar pattern American doors with the contrasting brass used in the boltwork and fixings- think this ones in Canada but unsure if still intact. The group photos show the difference in sizes and materials on these- the big Equitable’s in aluminium with stainless bolts, the Chatwoods in mild steel and brass with stainless bolts, and the little Cleveland Feds all stainless steel which sparkles more like jewellery when held in hand 🙁happy):

Huw Eastwood Thanks oldlock- you might have to put up with a few more of these first, as I’m saving the best for later :o: Here’s how the Chatwood turned out- and how it should’ve looked before I took all the pics and posted them 🙁: Turned a round boss on each of the brass hexagon bolts- it’s how they should be and they look way too chunky without it. Added the ends of the pressure bar details with cranked pins and 2 hinge carriage finials as often these show from the back, plus the extra brass adds a bit more contrast.
