Chatwood "Citadel" Safes.

Has anyone ever come across a Chatwood “Citadel” Safe or was it more likely only a vision during the death throes of the family’s participation in the company?

Hi safeman- the name does ring a distant bell- can’t say I’ve ever seen one but I’ll have a look through all my old notes- might be a drawing or sketch my dad handed down to me 🙁think):

I’ve had a look through a few but not had time to trawl through all the old files I’ve got- some I haven’t looked at in years. What springs to my mind is a very early one though- square corner construction so more likely pre 1890s and quite ornate if my memories right- like an early French or Fichet appearance to it. I might be confused with something else but the name Citadel definitely rings a bell 🙁nod):

a citadel bolt is a type of doorbolt.
These family were at Sammy’s funeral so it does seem from the intials that family probably set up at sometime.
