Help ID This Cedar Chest Lock

Hey all… This is my first post here and I’m hoping you can help identify this lock I found on an old Cedar Chest

It isnt a latch style as you can see, theres a slotted nipple if you will on the lid side that fits into the hole shown on the second picture

Unfortunately whoever owned the chest originally must have lost the key and pried the peen off the cylinder that the key would fit into… It’s rather unsightly and of course, the lock doesn’t work.

Now, theres no dimensions listed for the product here, but, I wonder if this could/would be a suitable replacement?
