Tiny miniature of a Hibbard Rodman Ely door

Hello everyone- just been reading a really interesting old post on here about the above safes and doors and thought this might be of interest-
It’s very small at just 35mm diameter, so it doesn’t look as impressive as larger models when enlarged to this size, but I think it captures the unusual features of these unique old doors. One very unusual aspect is the position of the step on the door-
Although I simplified the model in terms of the boltwork, the position of the step is as per full size- A very unusual design! 🙁nerd):

This is one of the smaller ones- it hasn’t really got enough tiny detail to enlarge because of it’s small size- the doors much less than an inch and a half diameter and pretty much all of what you see was done under magnification to get it as it is.

Dicey- the front of the door is flat- it’s mounted on the marble block to stand up for display. It might be a bit clearer in this picture, but the gap between the marble and the door is not easy to photograph close up when it’s so small.

It’s got top and bottom hinge carriages- bottom plain and top with a ball finial, and the pressure bar lever so it looks right from the top, bottom and sides etc, but the front is flat with just a small boss for mounting in the marble.

Interest in these miniatures is always for the back of the door with the boltwork on show, and not the entire vault or the door front- Plus, I can probably make 10 like this one in the time it’d take to make just one entire vault with hinges, frame, handwheels, walls etc etc 🙁nod):
