Dear Forum Members,
I am seeking information on dating of a Japanese gilded bronze gate lock, engraved with scrolling foliage, waves, diaper patterns and the Aoi-mon - crest of the Tokugawa family. The lock came with a signed box - tomobako, not sure if it is original to the piece.
