Uncertain about the exact composition based on a picture alone.
However after making caste bronze pieces in a sand pit
the picture looks like thre metal is bronze?
Bronze has a different glow to it and ages nicely
over time.
Sometimes I make a wood mold or wax mold for irreplaceable
locks parts and keys and then take the mold to a local foundry
for the pour. Agter it is caste I throw it in a huge tube of water
to temper the bronze.
It is a straight forward job to cut and file off the flutes and work the
piece for custom fitting.

Those items on Ebay sometimes fetch exorbident sums!
It is a beauty though
