Mosler Vault

All my parents have a mosler vault in there basement. It is about 2 feet wide by 4 feet high. It weighs about 500lbs. They used this vault for their construction company in the early 70’s. So it is 50+ years old I suspect. Where can I find the model number? type of vault it is? Is it worth anything?

If there is a number stamped on the operating handle, that can usually be used to pin down the manufacturing date.

Terminology quibble: What you have is a safe. They way I like to describe it: a safe is something you can stick your hand into, a vault is something you can walk into.
