My trip, this week, from Bournemouth to the Heritage Rooms, in the Midlands, coincided with the longest day, in the Northern Hemisphere… I drive up to arrive by 6:00am (I know - I’m mad). I normally stop a couple of times for a break. Even at night I was driving with no heater on in the car and in shirtsleeves.

It was also the month of the Strawberry Moon; having a coffee and stretching my legs in one of the many A34 layby’s there it was: the strawberry Moon with the very first rays of dawn, normally I would use my Nikon SLR and tripod, but on this occasion I used my mobile handheld - I’m quite pleased with the result though, etherial and mysterious? what do you think?
