wylk Here’s something unusual, a round vault door made in two parts. This is common with rectangular doors. Any idea who made it? This is at the Spring Hill Suites by Marriott (http://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/bwisi-springhill-suites-baltimore-downtown-inner-harbor), in Baltimore. See also http://1800recycling.com/2011/08/repurposed-bank-vaults for more images (and other recycled vaults).
Ryan Krakowsky This patent is very similar except it shows combination locks. The vault doors in Baltimore are automatics. U.S. Patent 635668
wylk I recently ran across an interesting panoramic view of the George Damon vault at SpringHill Suites in Baltimore (which was discussed earlier): I see they have re-carpeted the area.
