Small odd key - help with engravings

Recently got this key I haven’t cleaned it yet but I am trying to work out what the engravings mean. One side it has CHE and the other has crossed keys. It’s a nice bit with some nice levers and unusual cuts. The key is about 2.5 inches. See pictures would appreciate any feedback anyone can give?

Looking up crossed keys it looks to be either a church based symbol or a Masonic symbol? CHE doesn’t come up with anything for either though?

Looks like an early-20C cabinet lock. Perhaps the markings are the locksmith who cut a copy key, rather than lockmaker. I’ve not seen a ward quite like that on the backplate before.
