Milwaukee tank works key???

Looking for a key blank like this for my lock. I am in need of 2 of them. I ordered a pair of Ilco 994m’s. My local smith said if i could get something close he could try to make it work. Neither pic is mine but i believe the second pick is of a 994m in a Yale lock

I don’t think 994M will work, you are looking for something like Old Ilco 1269, unfortunately l-o-n-g obsolete, see image attached.

Thank you very much i am now on the lookout for this and also an Ilco 996m. I had a puece of banding laying around so i ground it down……and poof opened it right up. At least i can hang it on the cabinet until i find the right keys!!

994m and 996m should still be available from North Carolina, you might be looking for a corregated yale #68

I have some blanks that might be what you are looking for. If you post the bitting length and width and the profile (shape?) i will let you know.
( shape , /\/\/\ = M or\/\/\/ =W , when looking at the locks keyway.

Yes, Old Yale 68 could be a possibility, see thumbnail attached. Crosses to 221 Keil, SC23 Niessen, 1269 Old Ilco and 2735A Graham; all are l-o-n-g obsolete.

Wow you guys are great i will get some profile pictures tomorrow and as far as measurements on the key i am out of luck. I was able to “pick” it open farely easy but lock #2 is being stubborn first picture is not mine

If looking for blank key for the padlock you have try Master key per attached. The other one could use flat steel blank key. Just have to measure how wide the keyway it…..Timothy….

I will check what else i might have as soon as i get a chance.

Once unlocked making a key should not be too hard.

This is my second lock i have not had the same luck with it yet but i will keep trying. My locksmith told me that if i can get some keys that are close he can make them work so would be more than happy to get some of those blanks from you if you are willing to sell them!!! Its not letting me post pictures again i will try to pm you on which blanks.
