Here is a thumbnail image for anyone who may not know what a Nix-Pix key looks like. This was a type of tubular lock where both the cylinder mechanism and key could be recoded by repositioning the tumblers. For more information see Keys To Understanding Tubular Locks, by Desert Publications, pg. 29-38.

I had chances in the past to pick up those keys, but I don’t collect keys and didn’t have a lock for them. Now I have a lock and I can’t find a key. Maybe someday.Mark
