looking for Yale OEM blanks

Trying to help another collector out - he is looking for Yale RN8C4L blanks. The Ilco number is Y201, which I can find, but he would really prefer OEM.

I don’t have any, but I think you want RN8C4L, “R” prefix denotes round key bow while “E” means Eaton bow, see thumbnail attached.

It will depend on what the key is for. If it is for a certain knob you will need the square head. If it is for almost any other lock it can be either.

He is using them on padlocks so the bow style would not matter.

That is true, but for the sake of authenticity; the Eaton Corp. was the parent of Yale & Towne from 1972 until 1979. I believe this is the only period of time when the “E” bow was the default key. The “R” bow was and is standard both prior and subsequent to Eaton ownership.
