Got a box full of old keys today and just finished sorting through them. Lots of old car keys, flat steel and warded keys, etc.
Here are some highlights!

The early Schlage round bow blanks were 921B for 5-pin and 922B for 6-pin. There was also a 920A for single-bitted wafer tumbler locks used on ancient F-Series locks. All those cited were made of nickel silver. See thumbnail image taken from 1936 Schlage catalog.

Abe– Thank for head-up as I do have three Ilco Padlocks from McDonnell Douglas Aircraft here in California as now close down long time ago. I got these padlocks at Antique show here at Long Beach as some guy was selling all of lock and key from McDonnell Douglas Aircraft. He told me the padlock was set up with master key with operating key with he doesn’t have. I has to take the padlock apart to get the master key and operating as using Schlage key blank. I got all three padlocks set up with master key and three differ operating keys I never got a change trying to get model number and information of went this padlock was first use. I don’t think is really that old but could be anywhere around the 1960 to ??…Not sure of what year they use key for this padlock. I attached picture of padlock to it….Thank…Timothy…

There is also a note, “Any of above padlocks can be furnished with 9 inch bronze chain attached to case by a clevis as shown. To specify in ordering merely add ½ to number, thus: 308-½ or 308-1/2A.” The 308s used Ilco key blank no. K1054AX while the 309s and 310s used X1054K.

I have a distributor catalog from 1965 that shows the nos. 309 and 310 available with 1145 (Schlage C) keyway and presume yours are from that era. It appears that the direct code is stamped on the bottom of the lock case.
