texasrambler Attached are photos of a large old key that has been in my family for 60 years I can personally vouch for–it is much older. I’ve been told that it was the vault key for a bank that went out of business in a small rural town in Kentucky, USA. It could go back as far as late 1800’s.. I’m curious whether it is in fact a vault key, reference material on large keys like this and the value if any of this key. Thanks for any information that is available.
Paul Prescott It’s not complex enough to have been for any kind of strongbox, safe et al. Probably just for a door lock, almost certainly for a storeroom etc.
