Gerry, thanks for the warning. My reason for posting these foreign language translations is twofold. The first is, to expose to the English only speakers, the wealth of lock info that is out there on the net. The second reason is an experiment. I think I have noticed when doing searches, that the Antique-Lock forum will show up in foreign language searches for antique locks by using the translated version for each subject. In other words, when an Italian key collector searches on Google Italy for “chiave antiche”, this thread will show up. That in turn exposes this forum to non English speakers that would otherwise be unaware of it. Just trying to get that “World View” of locks. Doug
