Eagle Lock Co. key identification

I pulled this out of a fish bowl of keys at the local swap mart. With that many numbers and letters stamped on the side, I would guess there was a large quantity of them made. I’ve just not come across one before. It’s 2 11/16th’s in length, 1 ¾″ from tip of nose to upper notch. My best guess is a safe deposit box lock, I would enjoy a yeah or nay confirmation on that from anyone who would like to. Thanks - Bill

That type of lever key is not uncommon on heavy money safe inner doors and some thinner outer doors made by Mosler, Diebold etc. made after WWII. They were populer on large grocery store safes. It is very similar to the keys for some HHM cabinet locks that I have worked on. Doug

Can you post an image of your key? The Eagle Lock Co. went out-of-business in June, 1975.
