I’ve never heard of Getty & Co. at all but your key appears to be a Yale 11GA six-pin. I don’t know if Getty made the lock and key or perhaps just the blank. Interestingly, the number stamped on the bow, 528354; appears to be the actual code cut tip to bow with the exception of the last digit since I see only 5 cuts on the key. This is typical of thick nose postal box locks but I’ve never seen that keyway used on them.
GA is but one keyway within a multiplex system passed by several levels of masterkeys thus it might be part of a large masterkey key system. See Yale keyway hierarchy at the link, pdf file, Adobe Reader required:

If it is indeed for a Yale lock, if could be anything; padlock, mortise or rim lockset, cabinet lock etc. Perhaps someone else is familiar with the manufacturer.
