Brey What might this key have been used for and how old would you guess it to be? Does the style of bow suggest that its french? Looks like a legit iron key that has seen some wear… Any help, much appreciated.
Brian Denyer This key shows corrosion from possibly being unearthed or kept in a damp location. Originaly the surface was smooth and clean. Usualy there is a light rusting as with most old keys but this one has been abused. The stylization is similar to to other mass produced French caste keys of the period. Brian ……………………..
