Brey I’ve never seen a key quite like this; found it at an antique shop. What was this key used for? About when was it made and where might it originate from?
Billy B Edwards Jr. CML That key was most likely for a warded rim lock. It could have been a deadbolt but was probably a nightlatch as they were more popular. The construction seems odd today because there was a tube on the lock that went through the door and presented as an escutcheon on the opposite side. BBE.
