Welcome aboard!
The sad news is that lock and key collecting while being cool isn’t a high level thing to collect. There really are few that do it compared to comic books and other things. Information is harder to come by as you go back in time. So there are few outlets or shops that deal with this… in fact I know of none outside of other collectors or ebay. But then I am not a key collector outside of looking for OEM key blanks for my locks. So join the lock collectors associations and network with other collectors to find what you are looking for. This forum is for that end along with collecting information about locks and keys. So you have taken a step in that direction. 🙁nod):
We might both find out about something if someone else makes a post.
Oh yes, one other thing…. Make it a point to go visit The Lock Museum of America. They have a show in late summer/early fall.
The Lock Museum of America
Well worth the trip if you are in the NE part of the USA. If you can’t make the trip buy the video tour… and after that you will make the trip. LOL
