what do you think of these?

These two were found years ago in a field, can anyone shed any light on how old they are and what they would be for we were thinking a church? and are they worth anything?

The single key is for a strongbox. The double ended keys are for door locks. Age wise probably circa 1750 to 1800 or so.

They do have a value, although the rust / pitting will detract somewhat.

I’ve seen the strongbox keys sell from 30 - 75 pounds, the double ended key 50 - 100 or so.

No problem, in case I was not clear though suggested values reflect the condition. Don’t be tempted to clean them etc, they should be left exactly as they are.

Re your other question, probably not for a church as the door key isn’t long enough for some of those enormously thick oak doors !
