nclough Hi, could anyone help me identify where this lock is from ?. It is 14 inches in length, very heavy and I ws told it was probably from a castle. Any ideas ?. Thanks Norman
Paul Prescott It’s possible but not likely. It’s a fairly typical example of a Germanic rimlock of the period.
