Paul Prescott Anyone know the story, or history of the Lips / Chubb Eloctro product ? It popped into my head the other day and I recall it being launched when I was an apprentice but it seemed to fade away quite quickly ?

Further info from Graham Pulford- I should have looked there first! The Eloctro had a rectangular Keyway. It employed inductive code transmission so that no electrical contacts were required. UK patents 2252356 (1992) and 2273128 (1994) Oldlock was an apprentice in 1992? [unknown]

Huw Eastwood Pretty sure we had a brochure on these going back, quite colourful illustrations iirc. Unfortunately most ‘general’ stuff like that went out long ago and mostly older/rarer safe & vault stuff was kept, but if I do ever find it I’ll post it here.
