Eagle Trunk Lock Identification

I found the trunk lock in the attached photos at my father in law’s. Unfortunately the trunk itself was beyond repair. Searching the internet I cannot find a lock with this intricate design on it, most of what I have found are smooth finish. If anyone has some information on this I’d appreciate it. I do not have a key and cannot find any reference numbers imprinted on the back of the lock for reference.

Quite similar, but not identical to Eagle 8313 found on pg. 363 of Eagle Lock Co. Catalog No. 31, ca.1914, see thumbnail attached, click to enlarge.
