Brass Chubb cabinet lock

Can any one help with information on this Chubb lock marked by appointment to H.M the King

1945 > 1953 is about all that can be said.

Looks very nice, do you have a key for it?

Unfortunately not I have 6 of this locks with all ironmongery but the keys !! Shame as they are very mint condition n would look nice in a cabinet
