Looking for value of Taylor double cylinder lock

I have a new in package Taylor Lock double cylinder lock. The package has some wear due to age, but the lock is new. The itemis number C888. I’ve had it for about 16 years, but I think it was pretty old at the time though not sure if that means 80s, 70s, 60s, or older.

I’m wondering if it has any value as I don’t collect locks and I dont have a use for it. Thanks for any help you can provide. Unfortunately, I’m having trouble posting pics from my phone, but maybe someone knows what it is. Thanks.

The Taylor 888 is a double cylinder die cast jimmy-proof rim deadlock. It appears in Taylor Cat. No. 35 c1966. Taylor Lock Co. was acquired by Ilco Unican in 1986 and I believe Taylor branded locksets were no longer sold after that date. This is a consumer grade lock and yours was probably made 1960s-1980s. The C prefix likely indicates carded retail product. I can’t speak to the value, I think I may still have a boxed one on the shelf.
