Tom, I also have a Zeiss Ikon plastiv cylinder here which I bought much cheaper. This on Ebay was a much older version though. My newer version is of not such a good quality as the older ones had a better quality on the plastic.
Pictures of these can also be found in the Zeiss Ikon Schlossmuseum web page. I may translate this webpage into English for the owner in the future. I have just donated my antique Hahn cruciform key to the museum 🙂
Brian, sell the cutaway kit to Dean, I believe he is waiting for one much longer than I am. I know a private collector here in Germany that has the same blue case than the one you do and he is holding it back for me. I am not in a hurry and you already know what my object of main interest is.
