Hi, I have collected old door and padlocks over many years and have just joined this forum site with a view to talk and share information on locks. I have one here that I thought might be interesting as it has the sweetest locking mechanism that I have seem. When it almost closed a spring action closes the lock completely for you. The only writing on it is D.R.PATENT. Anyone know dates etc. about this lock.
