Dean Nickel Is there any serial numbers on the locks? This might help pin down a date. As for how many may be still out there? Only time will tell. There are hundreds of safes out there that are locked up and nobody wants to deal with so they just let them sit there.
btanders Serial number on Primary halls lock is 8443, secondary is 8344 Primay lock is larger than the secondary, both have 5 wheels.
btanders As I’m going through this safe, I’m posting updated pictures at this site http://picasaweb.google.com/AndersonAntiqueSafes I have the secondary door all cleaned up and about ½ way on the primary door.
