This is a good example of a Sargent & Greenleaf model No: 2 timelock, circa 1890. {The model No: 1 being a combined combination lock and timelock in one case. }
The example shows the decorated drop arm and case, which later examples lack. It is a dual movement { on one plate } 72 hour movement. The case is missing it’s original lock and is somewhat battered, but the internal mechanism and movements are in good order.
