VaultDoors Does anyone know how the numbers on the sides of the York combination dial work in dialing the correct combination (0, 20, 40, 60, 80)?
Timothy That look like Die bold lock. I use to do it long time ago. I think and not sure but it change combination on the “0”. Like i said been while doing it only if i can find the paper work for it and have no idea where it would be. I sure someone will give you answer for it……Tim….
VaultDoors They are for reference while dialing fast so that you don’t pass your number. The line that runs around the dial lines up to the index so if index show 20 the line should be on 20 on the side of dial ring.
wylk Years ago I heard a nickname for these dials, does anybody know? I think it was “hypnotic” but I’m not sure.
Timothy I found one of picture of Diebold that i done long ago. Almost like the York lock. I can’t find the instruction on how to change combination on it…..Tim….
